Woodbridge VA

The team and school really worked hard this week, and were able to see hundreds of visitors come! Even though it was raining all three nights, the kids still showed up. Our high night was 209, and almost all of them were muddy! Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to take pictures of those nights, but Rebekah did! She is making a new blog and soon will be posting pictures.

Another exciting event that occurred this week was Ariel's birthday!
The night before, someone took us out to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate!
The morning of her birthday, we decorated her spot with balloons and a banner!

We "hiked" out in the woods on Tuesday to get some pictures!

1st Three Weeks!

The first week we were at Brentwood Baptist Church.
An Italian man lived right next to the church, and he grew grapes and peaches.
He told us we could pick all the peaches we wanted!!! Unfortunately, he uses the grapes for wine, so we were not offered any.
YUM!!!

We took advantage of the various picture friendly spots.
Two weeks later, on a rest day we went to a Cider Mill and ate homemade apple pie and cider.
This may look complicated, but this is a simple machine that produces their apple cider.

T.V.B.A School bus!
On a hayride, we happened to see a pumpkin patch.

This was taken after setting up posters late one night at Beth Haven.
Don't we look tired!!!

The couple that made us dinner on Monday owned this neat little car and let us take
pictures in it :)

Glenn's birthday was this week so we made him a pecan pie out of the pecans

Miami Florida

First Baptist Church of Westwood Lake

They had a beautiful outdoor lobby.

And of course, since we are in Florida there are plenty of palm trees!

They had very large school.
There were about 270 students in 6th-12th grade.

For Sunday lunch we went to Pollo Tropical, a Cuban restaurant.

The entrance to the school was really pretty.

Peacoks roam the property. Sadly none of them had any of their long beautiful feathers :(

The school also owned quite a few horses for a camp they do in the Summer.
We enjoyed walking in the pasture petting and feeding the horses.

This horse was our favorite. He was very friendly.

He had an odd habit of chewing the fence!

Some of the horses had maskes over their eyes, we weren't sure if they could see
us, but they sure could find us when we had food :)

In the pen with the horses were two goats, they were quite annoying.
 They would follow us everywhere

This goat had no ears, it was quite odd!

Glenn caught us a tiny lizard. We enjoyed holding it.

Also on the property, they had a bird cage.

On Thursday, the weather was so beautiful
we decided to have Spanish class out at the pool.

Registration table...we spend alot of our time here :-)

The teens really got in to the War this week.

On Saturday, Janna was rollerblading,
one of her wheels went in the grass and she fell on the pavement.
She split her chin open and had to go to the ER and get four stitches :-(
